Akshita Pravin is a high school student at Sanskriti School, New Delhi, where she has been the recipient of the Academic Excellence Award in Grades 9 and 10. Fascinated by the ways in which analyzing data can help us analyze real-world contexts, generate insights, and unlock possibilities, Akshita is deeply interested in the rich convergences of mathematics, economics, and data science. She has also taken credit-bearing courses in Number Theory and Linear Algebra at the Stanford ULO program, scoring a final grade of A in both. To explore her academic interests in dynamic ways, she engages in the regular activities of the several school clubs of which she is a part, including Math, Physics, ICT, Environment and Chemistry, and Debate and Theatre. When not busy with her other commitments, one can find her fencing, dancing the Odissi, or playing the piano, or teaching herself the bass guitar.
